I'm just glad that Rummy has stepped down. And we have the house! And maybe the senate!

The Rumster has interesting timing though, for sure. I just hope the recount in Virginia doesn't get screwed-up, and that Webb is really in. We won the house, and that's a major step in the right direction. Let's hope we don't hit any landmines, here or in Iraq. And we're pretty damn close with the senate...according to one thing I read, we have the senate too. But the majority leader (Reid) is in the mob's pocket...so is it the syndiate that's running the senate?

On a state level, yay for the new gov'nah, but additionally, here in MA they're looking at repealing Gay Marriage rights. It is such bull! The last act of an evil Govenor Romney admin. They need 25 out of 200 to say it should be changed and to have it on the ballot AGAIN in 2008. So what happens to the some 2000 couples that got married while it was okay?

Religion and Government aint supposed to be a couple...or am I treading on thin ice here? (Are they like a same sex couple, inter-racial, or two different species?!)
